The Team

We are a small team (but perfectly formed): three GPs working in rotation, one nurse, two receptionist/ administrators. We are supported by some visitors from the mainland, such as a health visitor. About a third of the time we have a medical student from Dundee University or elsewhere.

Dr Iain Cromarty MBChB (Edinburgh 1978) MSc FRCGP DAvMed DRCOG DFFP MFCI

I trained in Edinburgh and then spent 22 years as a GP in the Royal Air Force. In 2000 I became a partner in a practice in Norfolk, and a medical educator for the East of England Deanery. I took over as the GP for Hoy & Walls in Dec 2012. I provide 24 hour medical cover for the island 26 weeks a year.

Dr Simon Rudland

I am a GP in Suffolk and I cover 14 weeks.

I cover the remaining 12 weeks.
